I am the past-executive director of the Two Rivers Main Street organization, Two Rivers Wisconsin. Prior to that position I spent nine years as the executive director of Historic Rogers Street Fishing Village & Museum in Two Rivers. I started out working for nonprofit organizations in 1985. My first executive level position was as the assistant director of the Chicago Maritime Museum. Before that I had worked as an assistant astronomer in Chicago’s Adler Planetarium; as a star theater technician in the St.nine years as the executive director of Historic Rogers Street Fishing Village & Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where I earned a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Classical Studies, and I'm also a proud veteran who served four years of active duty as a paratrooper in the United States Army.
I'm a past president of the Wisconsin Federation of Museums, and served as Wisconsin’s delegate to two national museum conferences. I'm also a member of the board of directors of the Two Rivers Business Association.

I reside in Two Rivers with my wife Jill, and our sons, Joseph and Matthew. We enjoy spending time on Two Rivers’ beautiful beaches and bicycling. My hobbies include a voracious appetite for reading everything from biography to history to novels to reference works. I also love astronomy, telescopes, computers and gadgets of all kinds
